Inspired by her experience of guiding on the Middle Fork Salmon River and seeking a creative outlet during quarantine, Hannah Fast developed a set of woodblock prints that reflect this moment. A longing to be together around the campfire, floating the river, or being around flowers. Her prints are a great reminder of what we have waiting for us.

I have so much to learn from creating Woodblocks. I am constantly reminding myself not to draw every detail. Sometimes it is what you don’t draw or call attention to that has the most impact. Just like in life.

What inspires me is our deep connection to the wilderness on the human spirit.
It is so visible in our clients after one week in the Wilderness, how their faces glow brighter and their footsteps become softer. You can visually see the difference. I always wonder what happens on the inside? Wilderness walks Within.
