There’s always something special about the first trip of the year. Ours launched May 25th, and this season it looked a little different. For 2026, we introduced a new experience — an exclusive charter for just two or more guests. Outside of our prime dates, we have the flexibility to offer something smaller and more personal, and this trip delivered exactly that.
On the backend, these trips require a bit more coordination and communication, but with our guides and operation based right here in Salmon, Idaho, we have the flexibility to tailor the experience and make it truly your own. On this one, the focus was hiking and hot springs. With only two guests and three guides, we could stay at camps we don’t normally reach, take our time on side hikes, and simply enjoy a spring Middle Fork that’s rarely seen this time of year.
