Our first summer trip kicked off with fresh snow, not exactly what you expect on the longest day of the year. But that’s life in the wilderness: unpredictable, beautiful, and full of surprises.
Huge thanks to our guests for embracing the elements with humor, grit, and great spirits. The payoff? After day two, we had clear skies, hot days, and a canyon glowing in full summer light. Things don’t always go as planned, and that’s what makes it all so memorable (and fun).
Rafting the Middle Fork Salmon
This past week showcased everything that makes the Middle Fork the Middle Fork. Incredible fishing, plenty of hot spring stops, thoughtful interpretation from the IRJ crew, and of course, relaxing camp time with friends and family. It was a full week of connection, adventure, and all the best parts of river life.
Photos left to right: Soaking at Sunflower Hot Springs, Ry sharing an interpretation on the Sheepeater Indians, family fun in the paddle boat, and relaxing at Loon Creek Camp.
