Chartering a Middle Fork Salmon Trip
When you book a charter trip, you “buy out” all the spaces on a launch, making the trip entirely yours to fill with friends and family. This exclusive access lets you shape the experience to your group’s interests. Over the years, we’ve hosted yoga and wellness retreats, exclusive fly-fishing trips, photography clubs, running and hiking groups, bachelor and bachelorette parties, and friends and family simply looking for a private Middle Fork river trip.
Charter Peak Summer Dates
Our peak summer trips require a full charter of 23 guests. You can also pay for the 23 spaces and bring fewer people if you wish. Dates include: June 21, June 30, July 8, July 16, July 24, August 1, August 9. These dates fall in the heart of the season, offering long days, warm weather, and the lively spirit of the season.
Charter with a Smaller Group
Early June and late August dates (June 3, June 12, August 17, August 25) can be chartered with just 18 guests. These dates fall outside the peak summer window for most families, allowing us to offer a private charter with just 18 people.
Both options deliver the same incredible Middle Fork experience, just choose the timing and group size that’s the best fit for your crew.
June 3 and June 12
June is a fantastic time to be on the Middle Fork of the Salmon River, these are our most active and exhilarating trips. With long daylight hours and higher runoff, we can reach many of the canyon’s hidden gems that aren’t typically accessible in July or August. The June 3 and June 12 launches stand out as some of our most adventurous, with the canyon alive in a spectacular spring setting. Guests enjoy hikes to stunning overlooks, soaks in pristine hot springs, visits to side creeks, and floats through a lush, vibrant landscape. Even with the faster pace, there’s still plenty of time to relax and unwind at camp.
August 17 and August 25
Late August is a beautiful and relaxed time to experience the Middle Fork of the Salmon River. Warm, sunny days and cool, crisp nights create the perfect setting for long afternoons on the water and cozy evenings at camp. The river is clear and calm, making it an excellent time for fishing, swimming, and exploring the canyon at an easy pace. Our August 17 and August 25 launches are ideal for those who enjoy a laid-back atmosphere, fewer people on the river, and the golden hues of late-summer light on the canyon walls.
Charter Payment Options
We offer two ways to set up payments for charter trips:
- Lump Sum: The trip is invoiced to the group leader and paid in 4–5 lump sum installments. This method helps protect our business and allows the group leader to easily track attendance and collect payments directly from participants.
- Individual Payments with a Payment Plan: This option requires a minimum of 16 committed participants on the initial booking. Each person pays a $750 deposit when signing up. The organizer will assume financial responsibility for any unsold seats.
